Autumn Nature Photography Gallery

I like to think of autumn as nature’s grand finale. When the conditions deliver, autumn is by far the most photogenic season of the year. It doesn’t get any better than spending time outdoors with my camera on a crisp autumnal morning, surrounded by mist and vibrant golden hues. It’s also the season I’m most on edge. One ill-timed storm during peak autumn, and the leaves are stripped from the trees, crushing the autumnal dream.

Autumn is one of those seasons that can make any natural landscape look painterly, but here in the North West of England we’re lucky to have some of the most surreal scenery in Britain. When conditions allow, I spend most of my time around the valleys of the Lake District, surrounded by daunting, towering peaks and vibrant autumn foliage.

This gallery features some of my most memorable autumnal moments, captured in places that never fail to leave a lasting impression.
